The Dream Drive on Highway 1
Celebrating the reopening of Highway 1 after a year of being closed, over 90 journalists and digital influencers participated in the “Dream Drive.” On Thursday, August 9, a road trip spanning from Monterey to Morro Bay, allowed road trippers to have the chance to experience the diverse offerings of the area. Participants traveled in vehicle models from 1934 to 2018, honoring the 84 years of Highway 1 being open. San Simeon was among the list of stops, and participants could soak in the many different breathtaking sights of the area. The caravan even made a stop at Hearst Ranch Winery for wine tasting. The “Dream Drive” road trippers participated in a once in a lifetime trip marveling in the beauty of the central coast.
